OK so its a strange thing to ask but here it is. The side of my hurts not the inside of my throught but outside. Its hurts to the touch and its the left side almost that muscle on your neck.

Yup. The 1st answer is partially correct. Might not be a cold or flu... but definitely an infection...

Your lymph nodes are swollen, they will be tender.

OK, you are getting a huge red flag that you are getting sick, a virus most likely. So treat your self NOW......drink a lot of water, take vitamin C and go to bed! If you start running a fever, or become congested, go see your doctor asap, there are some good flu meds that you can get a script for, but you only have a 48 hour window to get them on the onset of your symptoms for them to be affective. Get Well Soon!

You have the flu, or a cold. There's a thinger called a lymph node up there that works in your immune system. When you get sick, it swells up. Sometimes it gets very tender.
