James K Folk was Speaker of the House between 1835 to 1839. He ran for President in 1844 and 1848 and won both elections, serving from 1845 to 1849.

sure. John Quincy Adams from 1829 to 1833. Abraham Lincoln from 1861 to 1865. Gerald Ford became President after being appointed vice chairman. he served from 1974 to 1977.
