Hi Maria! i am sure it must be tough to make friends in the US of A, with the current political situation. but dont let that bother you. i am sure you will find good friends, who will understand you. some girls can be mean - but it does not mean, you have to be mean to them. smile and greet them. pray for them and forgive them. find your inner peace with family and loved ones ( and in things you love doing - like soccer )
about your dream - well, love, you just need to work hard for it. join your schools soccer club. practise and do your best. sometimes the best might not seem enough - but dont give up. it might be a hard road - but its worth it. good luck darling

It takes a lot to play any sport well enough to be considered a star. And girls' sports are even harder.
Soccer is becoming more popular in the US, and probably will continue to be more popular in the future. I know some colleges have soccer teams, maybe even most of them by now. Still, I don't think it has a lot of pro sports potential as long as American football has so much attention and fan support.
Still, there are soccer teams out there, and somebody is playing in them. No reason it can't be you if you work hard enough at it, find out what it takes to get noticed, and go for it. Presumably playing well in high school would be the necessary first step.
As I understand it, pro sports for women is largely a matter of advertising sponsors. Do you know about how to tap into that? Presumably there are coaches and others around you, in high school at least, that can advise you there.
But do this. Count up the number of high school teams, the number of college teams, and the number of pro teams. Figure what percentage of 13-year-olds, no matter how well they play at the age of 13, ever can become pro enough to make playing soccer a full-time job. My guess is it's a very, very small number.

You can make your dream come true if you keep on trying. My brother wanted to be a pilot since he was 5 years old. Then when he was 18, he took flying lessons, joined the Marines and became a pilot. So yes, your dream can come true. Just be patient and don't give up.

Always practice with your friends (that aren't mean i guess)
Join soccer teams and maybe make more friends there and practice even more. Don't get lazy during practice. And just keep going for it! Good luck!
and when you become a soccer star, don't forget to help out Afghanistan by donating (or however you wanted to do it)

Aww... Yes, keep following it. Do everything, get your family to support you.
It's nice to see you have a goal. However, don't look at it too much. You'll probably help your country more by studying and getting good grades. Then you'd get a good job, and support your family.
Family first!
Then work as hard as you can to become what you want to be.

Soccer isnt too big here, but its getting there. Practice hard, catch the attention of colleges, and you'll be all set.
Bend it like Beckham girl!
And i'm happy you're here, you seem glad!
