Sore breasts are perfectly normal during this stage of pregnancy. They are sore because of a hormone in your blood called progesterone. Its the same hormone that causes some womens breasts to be tender before they get their period. Progesterone maintains your pregnancy and is also known as the hormone of pregnancy. I dont think you have any reason to be concerned. Just wear a supportive bra and try warm or cold packs to try and make yourself comfortable until your doctors appointment.

I say just wait until your appointment, unless the pain is too unbearable and you need medicine for it. Different pregnancies do different things. Plus it has been 8 years since your last one, so there have been other changes in your body too. Hope you feel better!
