Say, a person picks up a small stone from the ground and holds it in their hand. As the stone warms with heat from the hand, the persons also experiences and feels the coolness traveling in his/her hand given by the cool stone. Is there an exchange? Can this be considered talking or a conversation?

Well, it's an encounter. But I wouldn't consider it a conversation...very poetic of you to describe it that way! I do think that we have a connection with nature. It affects us & we affect it. Nature is beautiful & the more time we spend among the rocks & trees, the happier & healthier we feel.

Only living things can have a conversation... no words have to be exchanged there is a such thing as body language but since it's only a rock and has no body then i would have to say no there is no conversation only an action and reaction...somethin similiar to newton's law of relativity....nice comparison tho you might get a few chicks to feel you on that....

No. I dont think so. That is just science. A conversation needs words.

No, this is sensory sensation, talking is still talking. Do you hear what I'm saying? No , you are only reading what I'm "saying". Also sensory, visual.
