Relaxing, clean, family beaches - Gulf Coast
Snorkeling or diving - The Keys
Deep sea fishing - East coast
Fresh water fishing - Central FL
Nature - Everglades
Golfing - Almost anywhere except the Everglades !

The Florida Keys. Key West? It's wonderful! It's like taking a trip to another country, while still remaining in the continental United States.

We have stayed in the Destin/Panama City Beach area in the past. Lately, we have gone further south and have spent 3 summers at Long Boat Key, which is near Sarasota. This past summer a manatee came swimming up to me while in the gulf. It is beautiful there.

The panhandle beaches, such as Destin or Ft. Walton Beach. The sand is whiter and the water more beautiful and aqua color than anyplace else in the continental U.S.

I live in the Boca Raton area and there are some very nice resorts around here, with beaches, great restaurants, things to see, etc
