Jazz music !!!! As you said like a disconnected noise, that's what people love about jazz music. Jazz music is a kind of music that have a biggest part we used to say : Improvization. This thing that make jazz music are so amazing to listen to, when any artists play jazz music then they must have any invisible connection to each other, so when an artist play the instrument, and the music flow then the other artist will follow it with some amazing feeling in their heart and express it through their own instrument. That's what the amazing thing from jazz music. They seem so disconnected but if you listen to it carefully then in a time you will enjoy it so very much, cause their music is really connected by some invisible feeling.
If you want to try any jazz music, you can do like this :
You choose any musical instrument that you like, for example guitar, then you listen to jazz music which the main artist is the guitarist, like Lee ritenour or pat metheny, then you listen first when this artist play, if you enjoy with what they express in their play in jazz music then you will like the music.

Maybe some jazz is what you say. I can tell you, for sure, that there is some jazz that is amazingly beautiful.
Jazz musicians are the purist of artist. They know right away that there not going to be super famous or rich. Even the great ones struggle just to get by. They stay in jazz just for their love of music. They have far more technical skills than any popular band, but they stay in jazz and make the music they love to create. I'm sorry you don't like it, maybe you should try again.

i see it more as musicians music if that makes sense to you
i used not appreciate it before i had a musical education but now i love it
