heres what i put so far:

Do you celebrate Valentine's Day? If you do, you've probably seen pictures of a boy shooting love arrows. That boy is Cupid the god of love. Cupid is the son of Venus, goddess of Love. I chose Cupid because it's almost Valentines Day, and I don't know much about him. What makes cupid special is the story of him. The story is called, Cupid and Psyche. Cupid is known for the arrows he shoots. But these aren't your everyday arrows. If you get hit, you fall in love with the first person you see. Cupid usually appears as a baby with wings, a bag on his back and an arrow in his hand. Cupid is important because of his magical way of making people fall in love.

what else should i put?

In greek mythology, Cupid is known as Eros (or something like that). Eros (Cupid) for the ancient greeks describe him as a handsome, young, beautiful, muscular guy. When the romans took over Greece, they changed the name into Cupid. Over the many hundred years, Cupid became a child with love arroes. In mythology, they say that one look from Cupid, and women instantly fall in love with him. In one story, Cupid fell deeply in love with a young woman, and in the end, the woman and Cupid got married.

Actually his Greek name is Eros; Cupid is the Roman name. There are several versions of who his parents were, but usually he is the son of Aphrodite, goddess of love. (Venus is her Roman name.)
Cupid has gold arrows to make people fall in love; lead arrows make people hate each other.

You might mention that in some stories about him, Cupid shoots both a man and a woman and they fall in love. Also, they would pray to him if they loved someone who did not love them, asking Cupid to shoot that person. You should also know that Cupid and Venus are Roman names, not Greek. The Greek names are Eros and Aphrodite. His name means "desire".

Er, Cupid was the Roman god whos greek counterpart was Eros (root word for Erotica, but I don't think I would put that in the report).

you want to regulate his call. Cupid is his Roman call, Eros is his Greek call. also, Venus should be referred to as Aphrodite. i have self assurance it became the Romans who pictured him as slightly one with wings.
