I would not go anywhere.
Instead, I would speculate with the money and purchase as many of the Pewter Edition DMZ Barbwire Plaques as I could get my hands on. (DMZ = Demilitarized Zone)
These are collecter Plaques issued on the 50th Anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War.
When (not if) North Korea collapses, I honestly feel those DMZ Barbwire Plaques will skyrocket in price.

I would wait till the lease on my apt finishes (whist working on helpful fpreign languages) and head out in the direction of Central/South America for an open ended trip hopefully finding places to work/volunteer.

Croatia because they have everything I could ask for and the people there are wonderful!
However if I want to shop, I would go to bratislava, Slovakia because they have many great things for cheap.

I would take a trip to either Europe or Asia, and backpack my way throughout.
