I am interested in finding a 4-6 week paid internship in West Africa. I have a finance background.Any ideas?

I have an engineering background and 6 years of real estate finance experience. I will be entering a top ten MBA program in the Fall. I plan to quit my corporate gig soon (yay!), and I am looking for a paid meaningful business related internship opportunity abroad. (I would prefer West Africa but I am open to South Africa). Ideas for worthwhile organizations, or projects would be helpful. Id like to intern in May/June 2007.

Finding a paid internship in Africa is next to impossible. However, a lot of the organizations that offer internships there will give you some form of allowance which is will more than cover your living expenses and entertainment in
AFrica. Cost of living is very cheap there esp. if you have any of the world's strongest currencies.

Back to the point, the UN organizations and branches, tend to have internships, look at their websites for internship positions. If you want paid positions, you might want to look at applying for a junior officer post with UN organizations in AFrica. Again check the websites.

Check with government agencies - World Bank, IMF, USAID, US Treasury Dept., U.S. State Dept.

Check with major banks - Citicorp, Bank of America, Chase

Check with nonprofits - Red Cross, Oxfam... you'll have to research to find others.

Boys that age love automobiles and automobiles on an identical time as women love princesses. verify that's bright and colourful and the photos/products are super adequate that they are able to work out them particularly yet can no longer attain up and pull them off (I lost some mobiles that way till I found out to hold close them bigger).
