It's not the only reason, but it's part of it. Intelligence and law enforcement agencies here and worldwide have become more vigilant. Civilians are reporting suspicious behavior (the shoe bomber).
You are right that fighting terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan has kept them too busy to attack us here. However, they are not "content killing soldiers everyday." They would much rather slaughter a few thousand civilians than a handful of soldiers. Why do you think they bomb each other's mosques, schools, police stations, and markets?
I didn't know Cat Stevens was a terrorism suspect. Not all Muslims are terrorists, you know.

Why do people think that? Maybe because it's the truth....We haven't had another "9/11" because of the Bush's tough stance on terror. We've thwarted many terrorist attacks from happening since then, along with our foreign allies. You're naive if you think terrorists don't want to attack the U.S. again. Their number one goal is to mastermind another devastating attack against the U.S. There are Al-Qaeda terrorist cells all over the world.

If you weren't so anti Bush you would know that the Attacks started BEFORE Bush got into office. World Trade center , The USS Cole,The US Embassies and nobody did anything except talk,TALK,TALK.
