There are only two that I know of. Shintoism, which is the original religion and Buddhism which was introduced from China. If there is a third religion, I am not aware of it. An obi is the "belt" worn around the kimono. It is very difficult to tie by yourself as there are many different styles. Some women take lessons for years to master all of the styles. Hope this helped you out little.

the majority religions of Japan are Buddhism and Shintoism, with many people practicing both side by side.
Christianity is by far the most common of the minority religions with about 1.4 million adherents.
