I got a email from a homosexual man telling me how much he hates me because I hate him, the only thing I asked was if he knew how much I loved him as a brother and how much god loves him! I will and have always listened to what ever a gay man or woman has to say to me and that is there choice to live the lifestyle they choose! I have listened with open ears and with love and compassion! But, when I share my lifestyle with them and what the word of god says all I get in return is hate and bitterness. Why?

Even though you are not being judgmental, you believe that God is the judge. The Bible is very clear about homosexuality; it say homosexuality is a sin. You are a Christian, and being a Christian you promote the bible as "the Truth". Most active Christians believe that god will judge gay people strictly. There fore many Christians are Judgmental themselves. However, you are not judgmental, but rather you promote a judgmental philosophy. There fore you became a target.

Unfortunately, not everyone listens with love and compassion. Some people who call themselves christian spout hate towards homosexuals. Not only hate from them, but they also claim God hates homosexuals. I'm sure people will have heard of Westboro Baptist Church, and Fred Phelps with his related spawn.

The other thing is, most christians believe that homosexuality or homosexual activity is a sin and, unless they repent of it, they are doomed to an eternity of torture. No matterhow loving a message like that may be said, it is still unpleasant.

Because you *ss-u-me (assume) alot.

First of all -

1) its not a "lifestyle" its a life
2) its not a CHOICE, I've been this way since at least 5, yes 5
3) I love God, but I'm so, so sick of being told I'm going to burn when I was raised not to even believe in H*ll
4) You call yourself a "ladysman" (sic) I said (sic) because that's how YOU spelled (or I should say, MISPELLED IT), yet Christ would not approve of that misnomer. It would be an affront to him. The idea that you "picked and chose" through women as if they were somehow beneath you, for your pleasure only.
5) You come and Preach to US, who are happy and content, yet when an atheist or agnostic confronts YOU, you grown confrontational and wonder WHERE "THEY" GET THE NERVE? We wonder the SAME about you!

So, we see YOU as no different as YOU see them! Go bother Muslims or someone else, otherwise, don't be surprised when you get not so nice emails because your comments need to be saved for "Religion and Spirituality" and not the "LGBT forum."

Thanks.

good day Ryan (my brother's call is Ryan, so if that's him, genuinely pay interest to what i'm about to say). Please do not marry the lady! you'll basically damage her and her relatives. undergo in concepts what the Apostle Paul reported: not each and every man or woman is meant to get married. except you're bi, then you truly will manage to close that portion of your self off a lot less complicated for your beliefs, if you're Christian. if you're Christian, there is desire to regulate, regardless of what the politically ideal would say. I say that as a bi woman who did replace. No lie, i'm replaced. i can not say I under no circumstances have a dream right here or there at the same time as i'm napping, yet i can not help that...does each and every man or woman act out each and every thing they dream? No. And it receives a lot less and a lot less with time. After a nasty marriage i can genuinely say i'm luckily married to the love of my existence, who accepts me, previous, modern-day faults and all. If God and His note did not have a difficulty with homosexuality, then neither would I. I actually have a stay and enable stay attitude in the route of others and performance many gay friends. yet i can not misinform them and say that God's note says something it does not. regardless of the indisputable fact that, i don't experience it really is inevitably worse than the different sin. i recognize He referred to as it an abomination, yet in case you seem interior the bible, he calls various issues an abomination. yet I do pay interest that He calls it that, so i imagine human beings might want to not lessen that, open up MCC church homes and Episcopal church homes that ordain gay and lesbian monks and take a check out to say that's ok. both keep on with God to the finest of our potential or keep on with our emotions...and emotions are fickle. reward to you no be counted what. basically because God did not seem to provide you the reply you sought rapidly does not propose He received't, or isn't, engaged on it. you're right here asking, so that you've a experience of correct and incorrect and recognize what it tells you. a minimum of your experience of correct and incorrect isn't seared, buddy. that's more desirable than some each and every man or woman is on the instantaneous. do not supply up. search for Jesus with all of your heart, concepts and soul.

I am a Christian and I do not hate anyone....... Homosexuals has been in the news as far back as I can remember but seems more so these days. It is the marriages and so many of Hollywood stars coming out, it's on the news all the time..
I do not look at gays as monsters, instead I pray for them as I do everyone else.
The Christians know that it IS an abomination of God to be gay. People think church goers sit in church damning the gays, they don't. Our church, in fact, never speaks of them..
It's a fact in the Bible and we just let it be at that... No more, no less...
I do not judge people, that is NOT MY job.. God will do that when we stand in front of HIM one day. He will determine where we will spend eternity.... Blessings~

Here's a reason from tonight.

You're also using buzzwords like "choice" and "lifestyle". It is not a choice for the vast majority of us, and there are as many LGBT lifestyles as there are LGBT people. When you say "the lifestyle they choose", I know you're not thinking of a secretary cutting coupons and cooking and waiting for her wife to get home from her night job like me.

When you "share the word of God," are you doing it with the goal in mind of changing them? People don't like that, especially if you don't know them. It makes them angry.

Please read the link below, written by a conservative Christian minister.

There you are, all hurt and self-righteous.

You're trying to cram your insane beliefs down the throats of people who don't want to hear it, and gee, they get cranky with you.

Stop telling other people how to live, how to think, what to believe, who to love.

You do not control the behavior, hearts, or minds of everyone else.

Your attempts to force your beliefs on everyone else, attempts to remake people in your image, are offensive and hateful.

That's why gays feel you hate them.

Because you behave hatefully.

Here's what you should do:

Spend every waking moment praying for everyone to become what you want them to be (mindless worms who spend all their time thinking they're talking to non-existent beings).

Pray and pray and pray.

Don't stop praying (except to eat, and for other necessities) until everyone is exactly what you think your imaginary friend wants them to be.

Go ahead.

Start now.

Leave everyone else alone.

You don't listen with open ears, you listen with a closed mind. It's one thing to feel you know how everyone else should be.

If you keep it to yourself, no one will resent it.

But you don't. You try to remake everyone you come in contact with what you want them to be.

If you were human, you would understand how offensive this is.

Since you aren't all you can do is pretend to be human.

That, and pray.

Just keep praying.

Isn't that what you're imaginary friend (who wants everyone to sit around and worship and adore him all the time) wants?

why would they choose that life style that can result in getting fired, losing family and friends, and ultimately death? did you know that there is a high sucide rate for bi/homosexual people because they don't want to live that kind of life? what about mathew sheppard? he was killed because of his sexual orientation! do you think that if he had a choice to be straight he would have been?

culture and religion is so oppressive that it makes you wonder is you really do have free speech.

interesting question though.

Well, certainly the ministers preach that it is abhorant and a sin to be gay or lesbian, even though the bible does not say that. Not sure how you know how much your god loves him, doesnt say that in the bible either. If you are preaching to people that your way or your beliefs are better than theirs, you should not be surprised when they disagree. The bible does say to respect others.

A lot of homosexuals (probably most of them) do not want to hear that homosexuality is wrong. When they hear that, they accuse the person of hating them, of being a homophobe.

I know that there are people who do actually hate homosexuals, but they are few and far between. Since we all have failing, none of us are in a position to judge or condemn homosexuals. But we can point out that the behavior is wrong.

And that's the name of that tune!
