I use to live in North Carolina. Every well not every summer but 2-3 times I went to Myrtle Beach. I'm talking about 6 years ago. But I liked it alot. People do not sleep there; you can wake up at 1am,2am,3am etc. and you still people walking around.. I stayed in a beach house so I could not tell you what hotel to stay. But When I went there I liked it. My family still go there and they said it has change but not that much. There use to be a musem of Believe it or Not but they did remove that. Good Luck!!!!

i'm making plans on getting married at Myrtle coastline too. i'm in basic terms having an elementary coastline wedding ceremony. There are some web content to help w/ the chapel and all. it is somewhat too commercial, yet i like it. I bypass to there some time a 365 days. that's romantic in case you're making it. I plan on getting married on Sept. 29 of this 365 days. i'm beneficial something there'll be incredibly beneficial.

It's bunk. I've been several times when I was in the military stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. You are better off going somewhere in Florida. Mytle Beach is not that large, the beach is ugly, and not much excitement unless it's a special week like bike week, or something else where an excessive amount of traffic will go through town. I would say if you do end up going anyway, remember I told you so...

I have been several times and I do not like it. The beach is dirty and the water is murky. All of the shops that flank the beach are generic.

It's pretty built up, sort of like going to Florida. Don't know any hotels.
