For a book report we have to make a life size figure of our character. Im doing Johnny Cash. I was going to make the shape out of cardboard then paint it, but cutting it, I cut myself twice. And I dont want to cut myself again so does anyone have any suggestions? I only have this weekend! Please, please help me. Im desperate.

You can just sculpt the guy out of clay or play dough. It's way easier and you won't have to use scissors at all.

I think that sounds like a pretty good idea, just be careful, or seek the help of an adult.
Another idea is to blow up a balloon and paste a pre-painted picture of his face onto it, and to stuff mens clothing with rags and such.

Try to get a parent/guardian to help you cut. Or, be much more careful when you cut.

What are you using to cut it? If you have a straight razor, have someone help you cut around your drawn outline.
