I have my guitar tuned half a step down im not sure if its the amp can anyone please help me idk if i need more bass or more treble or more volume on the guitar of amp please help me!!

more treble should work if you have your guitar tuned half step down I think that would be all

You need to set your amp to the distortion channel. If it is, then turn the drive up towards 10, while turning down the main volume. Play around with the mid and treble knobs, turning them at least over half way or more (for treble, go around 3/4's the way to 10). Then if you're playing the right notes, it should sound like it does on the album. During the verse the distortion is turned way down or even off to play the chords.

i am a guitar tech.


you need to use your neck pickup, and a shallow/slow chorus. you also would beneift from playing with real strings. not with the .09 gague you probabloy use. try some 13s and your tone will be there. you dont need an expensive guitar to get tone. you need thick strings and a neck humbucker withc chrous. dont max your trebble, but you need to crank bass and mids on the amp. onb the guitar, turn your neck tone down gradually till its sounds right.

You need a certain type of guitar to get that sound like they play it!! You can never get it unless you have that type of guitar!
