That would be definately 'if my husband cheated on me'. If I knew forsure that my hubby cheated on me, I'd probably do the same thing down the road (if we were together and worked it out). Also, some women cheat when their husbands don't give them enough attention.

I've said on here before that the 1 thing that made me "stray" before, was, some young girl was causing problrms in my marriage in '97. It was obvious she was a Flirt with my Hus.
When I had enough of her coming over here at night and keeping him outside to talk, i was on "alert" from then on.
The floosy soon wanted help with finding a car, this and that, and she got my Hus.'s attention by calling him, and he was calling her. The Breaking point was, when 1 night I asked him not to be friends with her, stating it was putting a strain on our marriage, and the answer I got was "NO.!
At that time if I was working and had self-confidence, I would have pointed him to the door, BUT, at the time our 2 kids were small and I felt helpless, and alone.
So, that's my answer. I'd stray under those conditions!

The one and only thing that will make you stray is turning your will over to lust. If you give in to lust, you will stray. People who don't keep themselves guarded against lust, will eventually find themselves committing adultery.
I've been married for six years. Before I got married, I made sure that I conquered any issues of lust that I had at the time and I also made sure to remember what to do if in fact any lustful desires returned after I got married. So I keep myself guarded at all times against lust so I won't stray.
The first thing that a person should know is that there is a difference between love making and lust and that lust can sometimes come disguised and armed with a reason for you to stray especially if you're in a troubled relationship. If you keep yourself guarded, you won't slip and dip.

I strayed, sort of. I fell in love with another man but we never slept together, but what made me do I think was the feeling of neglect. Me and my husband worked different shifts, and I hardly saw him. I tried to be understanding about the situation, but the loneliness was too much, and someone came along that seemed to understand my pain and so we ended up falling in love...it didn't last and it is over and my husband knows, but we now work the same shift and have realized we can't do things like that again that will harm our marriage.

Nothing should ever make anyone want to stray... NEVER!!! Commitment and vows should mean something today... However most people do not stand by their vows and any little thing and excuse will want to make them stray.... Very sad indeed.

I think I would stray if my spouse cheated or was emotionally or physically abusive. I also think it would be a possibility if we were seperated for an extended period of time.

Nothing...Why do people cheat? Temptation, opportunity, bad marriage, etc. Why would betrayal, abuse, poor communication send you into the arms of someone else? If my husband did any of those things I would leave him. Then I would go screw whoever I want. Cheating is for cowards.

None. Cheating is neither an option nor an answer to any relationship. It will only lead to heartache.
