The only differences are the Celeron M and Pentium M. The aforementioned Celeron does not scale speeds as the Pentium M does, and therefore limits battery life. This is why they are featured in value notebooks while more expensive models all feature the P-M.

No difference, they are the EXACT same processor. Centrino is not the name of a processor, it is a branding name for a combination of processor, chipset, and wireless. To be branded a Centrino, it has to use all three. Hence a 1.5 Centrino M uses a 1.5 Pentium M processor.

They are both about the same. the Centrino uses less power.
