i am writting an essay on Bergen-Belsen for my english class and i cannot think of a good sentence to start off the essay...can u help plezz

Bergen-Belsen, was a Nazi concentration camp in Lower Saxony, southwest of the town of Bergen near Celle. Between 1943 and 1945, an estimated 50,000 European civilians died there.
PS: two sentences but i think that will do fine. 2nd sentence just gives a support to the 1st.
