if they are plastic, like mine, there are a few different things.. Either take them down, maybe half at a time, and put em in the tub with a bit of water and cleanser, then wipe each down. Hang them back up with a towel on the floor to dry . then do other half. or just wash em where they are. towels on floor to catch drips, use a good spray cleaner, wipe well. of course the windows will get a wash too.. I have found the Windex with vinager workd well. Or they spray scrubbing bubbles, i use it for the tub, or on whatever i need to leave on for a few minutes. rinse this with a clean wet rag though. they both work pretty well.. speaking of windows, and blinds, i know my window is due for a scrub, i should take a look at the blinds again though..

Mini Blinds, the ladies are right...soak in the bath tub in a detergent solution and rinse..if you smoke, add a cleaner called Mean Green to the water, and it will remove all the stains from the smoke.
Vertical Blinds...you take the weights out of the bottom hems and detach from the top..take strips and put them in a large washing lingerie bag..the type used for stockings...Wash on gentle cycle only...dry them on a flat surface, if needed iron with a warm not hot iron...you can use a little starch as well. If they are stained from smoking..then use the Mean Green with them too. I have done it for years and it works fine.

soak in the bathtub with laundry detergent and then rinse
if you have to wipe them down hang over the edge of the bath tub and work your to the end.make you sure you put a towel on the floor to soak up water and to let them fall on
may not be the easiest but they do come clean

Vinyl Louvers
Regularly dust or vacuum with an upholstery attachment.
For soil removal, sponge with a mild detergent and warm water solution and blot dry.
Louvers may be removed and immersed in water.
If a thin film of mild detergent is left on louvers, static electricity will be eliminated.
Fabric Louvers
Regularly dust or vacuum with an upholstery attachment.
For soil removal, sponge with a mild detergent and warm water solution (or dry fabric cleaner) and blot dry.
Do not immerse in water or dry clean.

Dust them with a microfiber cloth on a regular basis and if they are really nasty just put them into your tub and run warm water over them with some mild dish soap. Let them dry and re-hang. That should do the trick.

I would say throw them in the bathtub with mild soap and water, then rinse. That'd be the easiest way!

Take them down, take them outside, and use a highpressure waterhose on them, works great and you can hang them to dry right back in the window.

Have someone else do it or throw them away and get new ones as it is not worth your time.
