Please no idiot obvious anwsers, if you dont really know please leave it to those who know. I had a bowel resection and 2 pregnancies and a tummy tuck is my only option, I really would like if insurance could help with some of the cost, what are things that could help in my letter of medical necessity.

Your doctor would have to declare that it is a medical necessity. Is this just to make yourself look better? Or is it a result of the bowel resection? Will there be any medical benefit to the tummy tuck? Think of people with masectomies... they can live without a breast (they may look lopsided, but they will live with no problems) and many times insurance will not cover reconstructive surgery. Really think about your situation and talk to your doctor about it. I'd hate to see insurance cover something like that just to help boost someone's self esteem when there are people out there who have to do without things that are medically necessary for them to live because of insurance issues.

It all depends on your insurance company. There are HUNDREDS of different plans. Lots of times they refuse to pay for things that ARE medically necessary.

Abdominoplasty is sometimes paid for after gastric bypass operations and significant weight loss, but that's the only time i know that it is SOMETIMES covered.

(Might be a difficult procedure after bowel resection)

Obtain a plant for your office—watering it is going to make you more active.

Usually they will only pay for it if you are getting yeast and other infections in the sagging skin. They won't pay if it's even a little bit cosmetic.

Tummy tuck surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

Keep a modest water glass, which you must refill often, instead of a big water bottle on your workplace.

I'm sure should you decrease your current abdomen and also get used to having fewer, it will help.
