Is it dangerous to have sex while pregnant? At what month of pregnancy should sex stop. Is rough sex dangerous?

Sex is okay. Sperm is good for the uterus.
If it hurts change positions and try not to be so rough.

It is not dangerous to have sex when you are pregnant however, you should probably stop near the end of pregnancy (8-9 months). Talk to your doctor. As far as rough sex, I say if it feels good and doesn't hurt, do it!

As long as u havent had a high risk pregnancy that involved bleeding or an incompetent cervix u should be fine,,,I had sex throughout my pregnancies until 41 weeks...Your baby is well protected so dont worry. Rough sex is sometimes fine as well,I would notice sometimes my husband would get a little carried away at times during my pregnancies but it never hurt anything..Just make sure there isnt no jumping,yanking,pulling and bashing ony our tummy...If it at all feels uncomfortable slow down or change positions...

You can have sex until your water breaks. Its perfectly safe. THe only time you cant have sex is if your doctor tells you not too because of a complication a woman may have, such as an incompetent cervix, etc..and also I doubt if you would even want to have rough sex while pregnant. Anyways, Sex is fine throughout the entire pregnancy

sex is ok...it could be considered as an exercise..if you're not that sensitive while pregnant, then it's ok to have sex until the second trimester..or perhaps until the third except during 8th and 9th month of pregnancy where in sex could lead to early delivery of the baby...rough sex during pregnancy may be considered dangerous...you can have sex and all that moving but do consider your health and the baby...

Rough sex might be a little dangerous....sometimes. I am at 34 1/2 wees and I haven't stopped yet! Its all good until the doc says to stop!!!

Sex right up till the end of your pregnancy is perfectly fine, even the rough stuff, as long as your doctor doesn't warn you against it specifically. It's something that you and your partner need to both feel comfortable about. Sex in and of itself is not harmful to the fetus, whether physically, emotionally or psychologically. I have been pregnant twice, and have enjoyed a full sex life right up till my due date!! Like I said, it's fine unless your doctor says otherwise, or you don't feel comfortable with it.

You can have sex until your water breaks or your doc/midwife says otherwise. If it hurts stop or switch positions! I think it really depends on the definition of rough...Asphyxiation, & S&M I would probably avoid, but vigorous sex, I think is fine as long as it doesn't hurt! Ask your doc, you can probably go into more specifics with him/her! Have fun!

From what I understand you can have sex as much as you want, unless it hurts, and you can have sex all the way up until you go into labor.

i had sex with my kids all the way up to my due date. and as far as rough i would say its ok as long as you dont get to carried away
