I pay attention ya. i'm a brilliant procrastinator additionally, yet I have been given by using college and that i graduated with a three.985 GPA. i actually do no longer think of that that's a habit you may wreck. I continuously waited to do my term papers like the night in the previous they have been do, yet i got here across that I did my terrific artwork that way. My grades in no way suffered; I additionally think of that the rigidity made me artwork greater helpful and greater good. i understand that procrastination is traumatic to your self and others, however the terrific suggestion i will provide you is to settle for it as element of who you're. in case you nonetheless get your artwork achieved and it particularly is not hurting your grades, circulate with it. waiting 'til the final minute could assist you to artwork greater helpful. If it gets so undesirable which you would be able to no longer stand it or individuals think of that they are able to't count on you, talk over with a counselor. I even bought a e book on battling procrastination as quickly as numerous years in the past- do you think of i've got study it? No, yet I plan to sometime (as quickly as I particularly have greater time). :)

It may be because you run on adrenaline. What I mean is that you are probably so bored with those common responsibilities, that the only way you can mentally handle actually doing them is when you are so close to the dead line that you experience a high level of adrenaline flowing through your system, that you get a boost of energy (nervous energy, but still energy) that helps you get through it quickly. (Nervously, but quickly).

Thats me.

What can you do about it? The only thing I can suggest is that you force yourself to start something early. As you are doing it, focus on how proud you will be of yourself if you can accomplish actually getting something done on time and in a normal manner. Once you do this, you are going to like the feeling and hopefully that will give you the incentive to continue working on it. It will be hard at first, its like you have to fake it till you make it....

I am a procrastinator too. I try to get around it by setting short deadlines for myself, so there's no time to get into the "there's lots of time" game. But I think part of it is that if I look at the whole job it looks too overwhelming. So try to break it up into smaller tasks and force yourself to get started. It takes time, but you can get better. Besdies 84% is pretty good! Good Luck. :)

It's just our way of doing things, we don't/not in the mood to do something until it is a must and its almost too late, at which we start to panic and mess it all up. Happens to me too, I wait till late at night to start studying for a test that I have 1st period in the morning...Sometimes you cant help it, but if it is REALLY that important, you will do it no matter what

Some people and this may or may not be you, are perfectionist, so before they attempt to do a project, they overwhelm themselves and worry about the project and think how it has to be perfect, and then they are so worn put that they can't even lift a finger to even start it, is this you???
