Every time I get a day off my friend is bothering me to help him with something- I want to be a good friend but I need time to relax!!

Just tell him you need some time alone. If he cant understand that, he's not a very good friend is he?

sometimes friends can be selfish. some people will try to be friends with you because they wanted to take advantage of you. For instance, they may ask you to borrow money and promise to pay it back. After a while they won't pay it back which cause the friendship to end. The best way to do is set limit to your friends what you want to do and what you do not want to do

oh yes, friends can be to needy. One of my very close friends was like that and she actually burned me out. I had to tell her that I needed my space but still wanted to be there for her. We compromised and we are still friends today.

hummm a friend a true friend isn't selfish nor needy..Just be honest and let him know you need some me time...Honesty is the best policy. Don't do anything you don't want to do, or you regret lata...

Yes they can, and it is up to YOU to set the boundaries. Tell him you are busy or need some time for relaxing yourself ---he'll find someone else to help him out, or (OH MY GOD) will do it himself. Is he the baby of his family?????

i feel u i have a problem my ex-friend talks about me but we always make up as freinds but dis time i dont know if i can trust her anymore.
