I'm kinda confused about my husbands friend. This guy is married But is always doing thing like winking at me, spending alot of time with my kids, he spends the night at my house all weekend every weekend, always giving me compliments like my hair or eyes, talks to my mom, it seems like whenever I ask him to hand me something like a lighter he's always touching my fingers, or he lights my cigarettes, the other day I was sitting on my couch with a pillow in my lap & we had both been drinking & he layed his head on the pillow. Then he asked to see the tattoo on my ankle & held my ankle. he always seems eager to do things for me that my husband refuses like bringing in the groceries or scraping my windshield, at the company xmas party he hit my husband in the head with a tape measure, and pinned him down on a table when my husband referred to me as a *****. Sometimes he "scraps" with my husband and seems to go a bit too far. Is he trying to get my attention romatically, or just friendly?

This guy has a serious crush or fantasy about you. First thing you should do is talk to your husband about it. Afterall, it is "his" friend. You need to immediately set boundries around him......if he wants to bring in your groceries, just say thanks, but you can handle it. He will only flirt with you as much as you allow him to. If you really want him to stop, you need to tell him it makes you uncomfortable and you would prefer he stop. Do not keep this a "secret" from your husband. He will be very upset if somethng even more inappropriate happens and you didn't clue him in earlier. He won't believe you and think you are hiding something. I'm aslo concerned as to whether you are putting this "friend" in between you and your husband. I don't understand why the "friend" had a need to defend you against your own husband. Doesn't make sense. You need to seriously look at your marriage and ask yourself why you are allowing all this to go on.
Also, seriously think about your children, they are what is most important.

If he is nicer to you than your husband is, then maybe he does have a crush on you. However, be careful. This is a sticky situation. You have to ask yourself "if he does really like me, do I like him" and so forth. Is this tempting you to do something that might jeopordize your marriage? And since the man is married himself, you have to ask how his wife would feel about all this. If you don't want families broken up or hurt, you have to think about what might happen if things went too far.

Personally sounds like he is really liking you. I would have a serious talk with him (away from the home front..like a quiet coffee shop or somewhere where you feel comfortable). Good luck...I'm kinda in the same boat I think! Good Luck!
