1. I think a lot of radionuclides are made at Oak Ridge, Tenn. I think they still make tritium at Sanvanna, Ga.

2. Bombardment of atmospheric nitrogen by cosmic rays (from outer space), mostly protons. 14N7 + p ===> 14C6 + n
