Three ways: increase air circulation...if you install some type of vent be sure to use 2, one high up to let out the warm air, the other low down to draw in the cooler air. You can increase the temperature as warm air holds more moisture than cool....in a closet keep a low wattage light bulb on. You can invest in a dehumidifier,but be sure to empty the condensation tank!

Place a bowl of charcoal in the room. Replace with new coals every couple of weeks. You can always recycle them after a couple or months outside the damp area. This works good in my bathroom. I have a very pretty bowl that I use.

break some hole through to the other side get some windows built in get a air purifier that is also a air conditioner at wal nart or target
