I have NetFlix and it's really nice. If you keep up with your queue (sp?) and send them back when you're done, you can get a lot of movies. I've heard Blockbuster lets you take them to the store to exchange but we don't have one around here, so there's no point in it for me!

Blockbuster seems like the better deal right now because they allow you to return your movies to a store and use a free rental coupun toward something else when you do. So thats an advantage. The price is the same as the 3 movie plan from netflix. netflix does have cheaper plans though than blockbuster but they are for 2 movies at a time.
Netflix is soon going to introduce the ability for users to download movies and watch them on their computer, that may prove to be a more exciting feature for certain users.
Me, I vote for Blockbuster because of the instore returns ability.

I have to say I like my blockbuster...the reason why is that not only do I get 3 movies in the mail I can go to my local blockbuster and rent 3 more movies with the 3 that I will be turning in. I also get a free coupon in my "account" every month which can be used for either a movie or a game.

Now that Blockbuster lets you return movies to the store, as well as getting them in the mail, I would say Blockbuster online is way better because you don't have to wait for the movie to be shipped. Other than that, the two services are almost exactly the same.
Also, that guy that said Blockbuster didn't have Six Feet Under must not have looked hard enough, because I've rented every season of Six Feet Under at Blockbuster.

Netflix rocks.... It has so many movies and TV shows... I am not sure if Blockbuster has as much selection....
I was just looking at Netflix and they have a new thing coming out in June 2007.... they are going to add instant movie watching to your Netflix account.... there will be a tab that says" Watch Now" and you will be able to watch movies right on your computer if you have an account with Netflix...

Depends If You Live Close to Blockbuster, then Blockbuster.
If Your Far From It, NetFlix Would Be More Convenient.

I have used both Mail Services--they are essentially the same as far as pricing and convenience. Both websites give you the opportunity to rate movies and get recommendations. Both have a really quick turnaround, depending on where you live 1 or the other may be quicker.
Blockbuster, however, has something Netflix doesn't--Stores. With BBV you get 1 to 4 (it keeps changing) rental coupons good for a NR movie or Game AND if you return your Mail movie to the store you can exchange it for a Movie in store--Your next selection gets mailed the next business day no matter how long it takes to get back.
The winner--Blockbuster video.

I personally love Netflix. Their costumer service is EXCELLENT. You always get a real answer AND solutions or results. Some people like Blockbuster better cause you can take the DVD's back to any store. Again, I prefer Netflix and recommend it HIGHLY.

Netflix is good, and fast. No Blockbuster stores near here, so haven't tried them. Happy with Netflix.

Blockbuster gives you free movie rentals if you take your mail-ins to the store...plus you get a free movie or game rental once a month. Blockbuster will also make suggestions on what you might like based off of what you have already rented. You can also rate movies for more recommendations. They're website is very easy to navigate and you can change the order you want to see your movies very easily. I've tried both and prefer Blockbuster.
