They are extremely over-rated in my opinion.

seem, i'm getting it. it is not what you're used to listening to yet you have an interest in studying greater. i think of Paramore is a solid start line because of the fact they are sort new and you will detect them with something human beings. Be warned: they are slightly softer. And if what you like approximately Nickelback is the rhythmic throb of those metallic laced guitar sequences, reminiscent of what Limp Bizkit used to do, attempt Linkin Park.

Yes. They are by far one of the worst bands to come out in a long time. Poor song-writing, schleppy ballads, and generally sh*tty music. And they're freakin' annoying. I couldn't believe they were the third best-selling artist of 2006. It's a sad reflection on the music industry and the musical taste of the masses.
To give them a sliver of credit, they are better than every single emo band ever.

No- i like them a lot. To each is own though. I cant stand "lips of an angel" song anymore because they were SOOOO overplayed! Maybe you liked Nickelback at first but just got sick of hearing and seeing them everywhere- makes sense. If you just dont like their music from day one though... your choice. Someone will always like something you dont. But.... since they keep topping charts, you just have no taste! lol- im SOOOOO kidding- plz take no offense- just kidding! ;) xo

their songs sound good to my ear, whatever gets me singing along, I must like. Some songs do sound similar however, but yeah I like nickelback.

At first, I thought they were great...but then after their first album I realized that they do the SAME THING over and over again. Therefore, they are basically talentless and I don't understand why people still love them.

My God, I cannot stand those guys, I think they are the most irritating band around at the moment. I'd rather listen to $#itty pop like Pussycat Dolls than that boring, whiny pathetic excuse for 'rock'. His voice makes me want to destroy things...
