can you add music on the sims?

i have the sims 1 and i heard you could put your own music to play on their stereos. how can that be done?

if you can do taht im pretty sure you have to download a mod for it...i know there is a "Simp3" mod for sims 2 that lets you put your own music in the game but im not sure about the sims 1
