Make an effort to move on. If you get a splinter of glass in your foot you wouldn't sit down, and watch it get infected, you would get something to remove the splinter. It still hurts for awhile after being removed but starring at it won't make it heal any faster. So please don't poke at it, find something else to do while it heals. JESUS would love to spend time with you, and HE will never forsake you or leave you. That's an unbreakable promise.

Oh man, I know where you stand! I've had a crush on the same guy for 4 and a half years, and I've just chosen now to withdraw myself and pursue other matters/interests. It does take some time, but YOU have to be willing to change the way YOU think about him. You are letting thoughts of him control your life and daydreaming always gets carried away. It's easy but hard. Don't lie to yourself and say, "OK, I am totally over him now, and I am going to move on!" That just shows that you are still trying to convince yourself of something that hasn't taken place yet. Obviously, you still like him a little bit, so you need to tell lots of people you don't like him, and think all the time how you don't like him specially any more. You become what you act like & think, believe it or not.
Hope I helped somewhat! ;)

Hey, this is a normal thing every gal undergoes.
Its not difficult to get over but it is difficult to forget. there is a thin line of difference between the 2.
Time is no healer. u either find another guy or concentrate on something else. I tried both n it worked big time. I like this guy for 3 years but never told him tht i like him at all. there was news from pals tht he liked me as well but we never told eachother. we took our own ways. I did get over him cos i found far more decent crushes. I have had many crushes but just 1 lasted for 3 years n thats my 1st crush. I had great fun studying what i liked, played tennis, n did some good internships as well. its 10 years now... n I have got over that guy, I am married and pregnant... BUT THE BITTER TRUTH IS OCCASSIONALLY I THINK ABOUT MY 1ST CRUSH N ALWAYS THOUGHT I HAVE A SOFT CORNER FOR HIM. its not a crush anymore.

OMG! i know EXACTLY how u feel. i've liked this guy for over 3 years! and i've tried to drop hints to him, and i've actually TOLD him straight forward i liked him twice or three times already! =P
we're good friends and all, but i kinda wanna be more special to him than that! and he knew it! he knows it! all my friends say we'd make a good couple. we just stopped talking...cus we don't have the same classes anymore and well it faded i guess. just think of other guys, that's what i tried to do. but yeah, true, the "it takes time" thing actually works.

I'm sorry :( There's really not much to do about it... Just try to forget about him and surround yourself with friends.
Good Luck! You can get through this

You shouldn't be focused on just one guy that long. There are plenty of fish in the sea ;)
