ok. can someone explain this to the dumb guy here? it just seems to me that this would be an easy and less expensive way to lift a ifs 4x4 truck. i am not a real serious off roader, but i would like a little more clearance when i'm going to a few of my favorite fishin' holes down at the river. no, i dont want a body lift, and i wont crank the torsion bars either,i rode in one of those trucks before.

thanks

rick

Yes, of course there are lift spindles available. They are obviously aftermarket units or should I say kits. When you change a spindle, you are changing a lot more than the trucks ride height. These spindles change the angles through which the front axles drive through, the position of the stabilizer bar, the length of the shock absorbers, the setting and possibility of the position of the torque bars, the length of the brake hoses and the ABS wiring, and more. This is a complicated job that is not for beginners, but with a hoist, some air tools and a good understanding of drive angles and front end alignment you will be okay. The other lifts are more designed for weekend warrior types who want a cheap lift. Good luck.
