No you can not get pregnant from having anal sex. When you have vaginal sex, the sperm travels up your vagina and through a small opening at the top of your vagina called your cervix. From there it travels through an organ called your uterus (if you were to get pregnant that is where the baby would grow). Two tubes called fallopian tubes are attached to the top of your uterus, and so the sperm keep swimming up into the tube. The tubes are kind of like the tubes of a vaccuum. They pull a fresh egg from your ovaries one time a month. The sperm meet your egg in the fallopian tube and this is called fertilization. If the fertilized egg travels back down into your uterus and attaches, you get pregnant. The sperm cant get to your fallopian tube through your anus.
