For a movie about two gay guys...I thought it was tastefully done. They never actually show anything...it's just shadows...plus that kiss in the parking lot was pretty hot. It's a hell of a lot better than any movie I ever saw with two girls going at it together.

Get a grip...it's not so different. Although I'll admit that I wouldn't have wanted to see anymore than they showed during the sex scenes. It's a great love story.

Oh yeah, the movie was booooorrrrriinnnggg, but only because it was about two closet cases who didn't have the guts to live together out in the open. The sex scene was very disappointing, especially after the groundbreaking homoeroticism of "Queer As Folk". The sex should have been as hot as the kiss Heath gave to Jake in the parking lot, not that gutless, Hollywood garbage. Of course if it had been about two girls in love, we would have seen every position in the book because that is somehow ART.

HAH!

Oh please guys...get over it.

How many times are we, as women, dragged into a movie, and we have to put up with the damn dykes.

I just grit my teeth and look away. If I KNEW that a movie was about dykes, I surely wouldn't WATCH it. But nowadays, unfortunatly, every movie has chics in it kissing or more, so it is kind of hard to avoid it.

HOWEVER, everyone knew what this movie was about! If you didn't want to see two guys, you shouldn't have watched it. By watching it, it just says that the people watching it were obviously very curious.

I got dragged to it by my "tolerant" brother and sister in law, and even my brother realized when we came out that the gay aspect was gratuitous to sell tickets, and that without it, the movie wouldn't have gotten a tenth the buzz it did. And without that buzz, it wouldn't even have been in CONTENTION for the Oscar. I never saw "Crash", so I don't know if it deserved to win, but in my mind, anything that kept Buttcrack Mountain from winning is fine by me.

I just read the story line, and KNEW to stay away. And I am a therapist, retired after 20+ years, and I don't think therapy will cure such trash as broke back mountain tv. God Bless you.

No I did not. What was wrong with the storyline? You've got two people who love eachother but are kept apart by social stigma. Its not too far from Romeo and Juliet.

How could you not have known what that movie was about. When it was released it was all over the papers, the news, and even the butt (no pun intended) of late night talk shows.

Unless you lived under a rock, you knew what that movie was about. I knew better...my friends (straight ones) new better...my family knew better. If you didn't know what was about to happen, then you deserved to see the pillow biters.

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

What's sad is that it's a good movie... and a good story... and I am one that can watch a movie over and over. I watched it once and said I would never watch it again. I was traumatized by those images. And yes... I start therapy for my flash backs and dry heaves on Monday...lol
