Hello Dude,
I have had this happen for YEARS until I figured it out.
EMF! at 2.4 MHZ
Your wireless is probably functioning at 2.4 MHZ and so is your home wireless phone, or your neighbors phone, AND MICROWAVES!
Our Microwave oven was leaking and causing my wireless to go boinky! We changed out our microwave and wireless lan line phone and it helped tremendously. But occasionally, I got dropped. I finally got a spectrum analyzer from our local college, to borrow.
After about 2 weeks we figured it out. It was the police radar gun and the microwave tower about 1/2 a mile away.
I put up a screen in the direction of the tower, and it all stopped. :) The police, however, wouldn't turn off their radar guns for me. :)

Maybe your wireless base station is going. If it's more than 2 years old, it might starting to be putting out an unsteady connection. If you have some other wireless enabled device, see if that stays connected. This may also happen if you have Wireless B and it's more than 2 years old. I suggest upgrading to Wireless G plus or Pre-N if you have not already.

My wireless does that sometimes too. No clue, but it tends to be really quick (like 5 seconds) Good luck!
You could try and go into the router settings and doing a restore of the wireless system, sometimes works for me.

You haven't stated what type of computer you have...iif it's a Mac, make sure that your airport is at the top of the network port configurations...otherwise, I would recommend updating your router...:)

appears like your dropping signal. in case your sitting close to some digital, or electric powered kit, which could actually have an result. call your provider, they could be in a position to develop the signal. One very last concept. you do not have dial up do you?.
