I use one of the three blade razors and I put in a new blade every week. I often don't shave on the weekends, so I'd say I switch blades every five shaves. The kind I use is a gillette and it has some kind of colour strip on it that fades with time. I actually find its a pretty good indicator. If I'm on vacation or something and not keeping track of how often I'm shaving, but the time the colour strip is gone, it's definitely time for a new blade.

Try shaving with an electric first, then with the razor in the shower when the beard is nice and soft. Get lots of shaves out of ear blade, and much more comfortable too.

depends. if you shave every night. if you shower befor you shave. should last a week easy. best bet is get a gillette mach 3. when i shave every night one blade will last a month befor it starts to hurt. better, too. the blades cost like $10 for 4. but a better shave you'll never get and has some kind of oil in the blade for comfort. Hey, gillette should pay me a commission!

I would imagine it depends on if you use shaving creme and how
well you clean it. I bought one of those gillette jobs that has I think
4 blades. Best shave I ever have had and the blade last forever.
It cost a bundle. But I think in the long run its worth it.

There are no blades single double or treble that can give a good shave if you invent one patent it and make a fortune..lol
