Well if you are looking at your good thing as a leftover from someone else then maybe that good thing isn't all that good after all. If you got something good your are definently not going to call it a leftover. Because who ever left it must have had a darn good reason to leave it cause it may have been really bad...

No ma'am. That is not true. Good things do come to those who wait. I have experienced this and I have witnessed this in other people's lives as well. This is why I do not agree with "The early bird gets the worm".

amen sista! i found that out the hard way when i waited too long to ask out the guy i love and someone else got there first! and now i sit here on Y!A and beat myself up all day cuz i lost my one and only chance. well thanx for listening to me rant lol

you make a nice stew, you cook it, and eat some right away,
and the next day it taste better after it has sat.

and then you have a glass of wine, 10 minutes after it is bottles,
to bad it tastes better after some time has passed.

I think sometimes this is true.
Other times you are better off waiting, because you learn from other's mistakes.
