I think you'll have a great future as a stand-up comic.

Work on that routine, add things like

" I really scrubbed my disk down by using the best wire brush I could buy",

or " you think your computer is clean - now this! ( shows wire brush and detergent ) is CLEAN! "

or " My computer has a virus, so I gave it some Tylenol and flushed it down the CPU with lots of warm water."

Good luck in your career! I'll look forward to seeing you on a future Comedy Central!

:-))

I'm guessing you are not serious. Please tell me this is a joke question. Which if it is, what a waste of 5 points.. If it is not a joke, you basically just scrubbed your computer to death.

Get you 'friend' to make sure all your parts are put back in the right slots and are seated properly. But Fantastik and a scrubber? Man, if your friend told you to do that, you better find a new friend....

i don't comprehend in case you have an Apple or a pc, yet your indications are indications, to me a minimum of, which you have a defective capacity grant or maybe a loose capacity connection. On a mac you may reset what's called a equipment administration controller (SMC) unit. Or something very on the edge of that. For that form of situation you may ensure it is powered off, than you may disconnect each cable going to the pc and wait a minimum of two minutes. To appropriate troubleshoot the situation, i might initiate by utilising basically connecting the capacity, the keyboard and the mouse. Then see if the situation happens returned, if it does, maximum probable the capacity grant is the reason. If it does not persist, connect one device and restart after each reconnect and attempt. this might enable you to tell which device is inflicting the situation in spite of if it is an exterior device inflicting it. yet returned, it does sound like the capacity administration Unit. inspect this situation please it may help very much, for this situation and God forbid subjects sooner or later. in case you want to touch help: GOOGLE the kind call OF THE CPU AND pass to THEIR website OR seek for their variety utilising GOOGLE. well first of all you should't open your computer and mess with it if you don't know what you are doing. now i'm no computer genius (though I plan to be) but one thing that happened to my friend was similar to what happened to you. there is a connection from your dvd/cd rom player that connects to you mother board (that big circuit board that everything connects to) and there is another one that goes from your hardrive to your mother board. you have to make sure that the one from the hardrive is connected to IDE1 and the CD player one is connected to IDE. however this is a rather old computer and newer computers use SATA. this is just one possibility.
It could be something very simple too, like your motherboard isn't getting power or something else isn't getting power. well hope this helps.

Plug it in???!! :-p

Just open it up again, and (without the power on) check all the cables are not loose, especially around where the power lead would plug in) Other than that no clue wot else to do.

He might have meant your desktop (like where you have icons once you've loaded it up! Oh well, good luck!
