Does money really make the world go round?

Money might make the world spin, but sure won't make you happier or a better person. Rich people seem to cause their own problems, while the common folk, like myself, work with the usually day to day life problems. Truth be told, I like the way things are for me. Friends and family are enough. Just give me a comfortable living.

the rich are happier, most of them most of the time. money doesn't make the world go round -- i believe gravity is responsible for that.

I feel that it varies. I have seen the lottery stories, on "True Story", in which these rag to riches people were as miserable rich as they were poor. You see these stars. Things aren't a picnac for them either.
I am middle class. Despite having seen me havng had so many seizures at work, due to stress and not using my epilepsy as a crutch, my coworkers seem to think that I'm devoid of problems.
They, in contrast, made their own problems: teen pregnacies, drug addiction, and no diploma. They have the disability-free life that I've never known, but sometimes chose to play hooky from work. I, in contrast, have missed 6 days of work since '92 despite having had 31 grandmals seizures---23 of which I had at work from '95 to 99..

I think money just magnifies the person u really r. if u r a very nice person, it will show. if u r mean- it will show up even more. as far as being happier, i doubt it. but i think my life would be much better if i brought home enough every month to cover the bills.

Hell no it just brings out the trash from the wood works, money is not what make me happy it is my family. My world goes round because of my husband and children not my assets.

Not if they're goal was to become rich for a selfish reason. If they did it to make others happy than they feel that they have a lot more self worth.
