It could be someone random outside the village or it could be the 4th hokage of Konoha. There are fans saying Akatsuki's leader is actually the 4th hokage because his shadow resembles the 4th and other stuff. There are other fans saying the leader of Akatsuki's group has blue hair so it can't be the 4th if he really has blue hair..it's still a question to us. We need to watch the series further to confirm his role. if you're asking for my opinion, i would say I prefer the 4th hokage to be the leader of Akatsuki because that would be a very interesting twist and i wish naruto would fight him at the end.

There are lots of rumours that it is the yondaime (fourth hokage) and I think that it is too because the shadow looks alot like him and if it really was it would be a really awesome twist to the show. Also it would be so awesome seeing Naruto fight the legnedary fourth near the end of the series and beating him.

Maybe Naruto, the show IS named after him, he must have all the best parts in the show. (I know you hate it when you ask questions and nobody has a clue what you're talking about...I hate when I ask questions and everybody's an idiot. I do wish I could help you, although, I have heard Naruto)

No one realy knows that and srry I can't help.I've seen up to episode 216 thats how far japan is and they still don't gibe you that info or a clue to that even then.But if I find out 'll tell you.But their are a lot of posabiltys on who it chould be.

No one really knows, and I'm pretty sure no one will be able to get it. After all, how many Naruto characters have you see so far, and out of all them, how many have piercings on their nose?
