This is my first month taking levlen 28 birth control pill and i was wondering how long you periods usually last when your taking levlen. I started this morning.

This tends to be different for every woman. It could be anywhere between 1 and 7 days. Most of the time my experience was 3-4 days of a light period.

Your period should last as long as it has been in the previous years. The length of your cycle shouldn't change. I would also recommend looking for more information on Levlen's website or speaking with your doctor.

Generally your periods dont change that much they are always on time with the pill but they may vary from 5-7 days you mast take all the tablets in that cycle regardless of what day your period stops

Normally I get my period on the second or third inactive pill, and it's gone by the time I start the active pills again. Even if you are still bleeding when you run out of inactive pills, start the active ones right away.
