The Xbox 360 has such a unique design that you can display it vertically or horizontally. Disadvantages of displaying the console vertically is that during the insertion of the game disk the game disk tends to slide off of the tray which may cause the game disk to get stuck in the console. Displaying the xbox 360 horizontally may not look as cool but I guarantee there will not be any game disk sliding and getting stuck in the console.

It's up to you. The xbox 360 was designed to be place either horizontal or vertical. I have mine in a horizontal position because it's a more natural position and it helps the disc from scratching. Just think about it and you will see what i meant.Picture this in your head : a high speed spinning dvd in a horizontal or vertical position ??? what would you prefer??

Doesn't matter, but I have mine vertical to keep it cooler(like temperature) also do not move the XBOX 360 while the game is in it and spinning, the disc will tilt and scratch(it is proven)

It goes any way you like it to go if i had the thing to make my 360 to stand up i'd take it off my tower and put it standing up by or somewhere around my tv
