Your Opinion on the iPod Shuffle??? (only answer this if u have or used the new Ipod Shuffle)?

i almost have enough money now for an iPod shuffle, and if i save more, i can get the nano but I really really dont want to wait any longer... in your opinion, would the ipod shuffle be good enough???

go for it i have had mine for year and half its great the only dislike i have is dosent show the songs but its great

I've only used the 1s gen shuffle but besides size factor their pretty much the same. The shuffle is great because it really is so tiny and has 1 GB of memory. But the interface is extremely limiting. All you can do is load a playlist into the shuffle from Itunes and
1) Play your songs in that order with the ability to skip 1 song at a time by pushing next (possibly away to get past say 1 album if you remember the order) Still it's hard to have say list A and list B half and half your stuck with the order you have unless you want to do a lot of clicking next.
2) Play the songs on your Ipod randomly in which case it don't matter you can't find anything it's random.
The lack of screen never allows you to know what you are playing so you really have to know your music if you want to know what you are listening to.

if your not going to get the ipod with video then you might as well buy a mp3 player,at least you will be able to listen to what you want to when u want instead of that shuffle crap.

If you're going to actually *save up* for anything then it should be the iPod Video.

I got an iPod nano for Chistmas, so I think you should save up for an iPod nano insead.

it is a really good i pod that has more ups then downs. Some good things are it is less money, it's easy to hold, it can clip onto your shirt, and it's not that heavy. one bad thing is that it doesn't have a screen and it can't hold as many songs as a nano does

I got one for Christmas and I love it. It is soooo small and compact. If you do not mind not seeing what song you are listening to (which if you put it on your ipod it must be good anyway)- I would definately get it. Not bad for $79.
