Direct question: indicative verb
Indirect question: indicative verb + subjunctive question

Direct question: Quid mihi placet (what do I like)?
Indirect: Scis quid mihi placeat (you know what I like).

Direct Statement: indicative verb
Indirect: indicative verb, accusative + infinitive construction (subject of indirect statement is accusative, verb is infinitive, direct object is also accusative)

Direct: Eum amo (I love him).
Indirect: Dixi me eum amare (I said that I love him).

If this is not clear, you may contact me for more help. Best of luck to you with your Latin!
