Sea snakes have the most potent venom drop for drop than any other snake. Examples of sea snakes include the faint-banded sea snake (Hydrophis belcheri) and the hook-nosed sea snake (Enhydrina schistosa). However, sea snakes generally only inject about 5 to 15 mg of venom. There are about 70 species of sea snakes and a little over 50 species are considered "true" sea snakes. But here's the BUT.
Fierce snakes average 44 mg of venom output with 110 mg the maximum recorded, enough to kill 100 people in one bite. So you see when you combine the venom output of a snake with one bite with the potency, that would be the Inland Taipan, or fierce snake. The sea snake venom is more concentrated and virulent drop for drop, about 1.5 mg is fatal to a person, but injecting far more venom is the key.

It is a small sea snake in the South Pacific. I can not remember it's name, but if bitten you only have about 5 minutes to get the anti-toxin. The good news is that their fangs are short and standard wet suits are enough protection.
I know of only one survivor of it's bite. A Navy diver that was testing communications gear, he told the ship he had been bitten, and was met by the Medical Officer who injected the serum before he had a chance to board.

The Black Mambo is probably one of the most posionest snake on land (100% fatal if antivenin is not administered quickly), but the Beaked Sea Snake is the most venomous in the sea.
