I was trying to open up my linksys routers port to speed up my torrent downloads, see http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/73686. So when i put my IP address, the admin password doesnt work which means i must have configured it when i set it up. Can anyone figure out a way to find it??

Hey Dude,
Hate to say this, but, if you can not remember it, you will have to do a factory reset, and start from scratch. Did you back-up the config? If you did, you will be able to restore it, and see what the password is.

Call Linksys at 1-800-326-7114, and they will help you reconfigure this. I wrote mine down where no one but me could find it because I was afraid I'd do just that, forget it.

In your web browser type 192.168.1.1
Then you will be able to setup your router...but you will most likely have to reset it first
