I don't think falling into a category of politics is something someone should CONVINCE you of...

Make an informed decision about what YOU believe based on the platforms of each political party and which side you are more agreeable to:

Such as

Pro-life - Republicans
Pro - Choice - Democrats

Pro - Death Penalty - Republicans
Against - Death Penalty - Democrats

Welfare - Democrats
NRA - Republicans

AND SO ON...

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Confused by its own campaign promises to enact bold new legislation within the first 100 hours of a new Congressional session and to improve conditions for the working poor by raising the minimum wage, a befuddled Democratic majority in the House of Representatives accidentally voted to raise the minimum wage to $100 an hour.

Now only lawyers and therapists have jobs.

“It was their first week, and mistakes like this were bound to happen,” said one longtime Capitol Hill observer. “This is really no worse than when the recording secretary of the 77th Congress made a clerical error, causing the country to declare ‘wax’ on Germany and Japan in 1941. For six months, B-17s were dropping nothing but candles on Berlin and Tokyo. No wonder we lost the damn Philippines.”

The new Congress committed another apparent blooper when it voted to make ESL the nation’s official language. President Bush, however, vowed to veto the bill, saying he preferred gibberish.

I would only try to convince you to vote for the candidate who best represents the betterment of the USA and who best represents the values you believe in.

While I find that for me Replublicans more often represent what I believe in, anymore the R or the D too often doesnt mean much.

Why would I want to? That is sort of like asking should I convince you to support the corrupt of this congress, or the next congress.

Be independent, don't depend on others to tell you what is and is not.

Democrats now are self sentered and stupid. They are changing their minds every single second to get more votes and representation. They agree with gay marriges, abortion and stem cell research. Republicns are old fashioned and want the nation to stay civil AND tru.

If you believe in truth and justice, The Constitution and the Bill of Rights, you're good repub material. If you don't acknowledge truth, hate America, and want America to be destroyed, you're a liberal, aka Dimocrit.
