How nice it would be, dont you think, if they were really beautiful and sweet, and didn't want to wipe out the Human Race?

not all alien movies show ugly aliens who are mean, think about Contact or Close Encounters (they weren't mean, although the close encounter's aliens were kinda weird looking)

I think that humans are incapable of thinking that an alien race could be beautiful or peaceful. We live in a world still engaging in tribal warfare, and we rarely see beauty in each other, we just see a different skin tone or religious affiliation. If we as a planet can learn to see the beauty in everyone and have peace with one another then maybe we can concive of a universe with beautiful and peaceful aliens.

In reality, especially Total Reality, we probably hold a near top record for ugly and aggressive.

But there are many very nice and attractive people here too. That is promising for the future.

Some aliens will resemble us. Some will look quite different, yes perhaps even like marine or avian ancestry, but they look attractive more than ugly, especially the vast majority who are definitely far more civilized than we are.

Some worlds are very, very advanced. We are a relatively new world, but all worlds have the same destiny of perfection.

Some worlds are just starting out and have plants and animals adapted to that particular sphere but no race of ascension potential as yet. Others have a relatively primitive race, but will not likely have as much trouble getting to our same technological status.

Very few people, less than 1 in 10,000 have even a partial understanding of the origins of our difficulties. All the help we need is available.

Death to some particular race, nation or group is NOT the answer. We do need to work on the crime and ethics problems. Religion must evolve, more to accommodate truth, goodness and beauty, and to foster these, and to set ethical standards that foster greater cooperation and harmony while safeguarding the institution of family and the development of public education to the point of maximum (and continuing) education for all, regardless of sex or race or nationality.

All who are able to learn must have the opportunity. No one should be denied this because they are 'not as fast as someone else.'

There should be more schools where the many qualified true teachers who do not require $180,000+ salaries are allowed to teach, thus lessening the cost for students, and making education truly accessible to all, including those who have no money to pay, nor employment help post graduation for paying a huge bill.

A thousand 60 mph people are one million times more powerful than one 100 mph person.

If people do not have the opportunity to be a productive member of society they will become an unproductive member, perhaps even a social deficit (criminals, welfare mothers, missing fathers who do not support their children, etc.).

Close Encounters, ET, The Day the Earth Stood Still. There are plenty of examples of "good" Aliens. Even in the Alien movies, the aliens were just vicious animals. It was people working for "the company" that were really the bad guys.

Well there have been a lot of good looking aliens in movies. "The Day The Earth Stood Still", "The Man Who Fell To Earth", and "Starman" all featured normal looking aliens that were kind. There a loads of good looking aliens in the "Star Trek" movies and most of them are peaceful. "Contact" featured well intentioned ailiens, we just didn't get a chance to see them.

You need to admit that as a race we are pretty mean and violent towards others. We can't live peacefully with ourselves and that is before you add in the Xeno factor.

The reason for this is that most people would rather see a mean aggressive alien in the movies because that is most peoples perception on things that we didn't know anything about. Movies make more money if there are more things that people can relate to.

You want a movie like that, you watch Close Encounters of the Third Kind. (Or ET.)

Other movie aliens are ugly and agressive and want to take over the earth because conflict makes movies interesting. If the aliens simply landed and asked where they could buy Girl Scout cookies, it would make a pretty dull movie.

If didn't want to wipe out the Human Race where would the drama come in? In most movies it's because if they looked like us it would harder for them to be considered the enemy.

In some older 80's movies they are sweet. The aliens reflect the issues going on in real society (threat of terorism..etc)

Well if you have ever seen The Abyss, the underwater entities, which I guess aren't technically aliens, but they are very beautiful and kind.
