that is so great. Congrats. I too got to experience labor on this side of the bed. Unfortunately the mother had to be taken in the OR for a c-section. It was still exhilarating.once again CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah the gripping pain will go away. My husband said it took a few days but it did go away.

My I was present when my mom was giving birth to my little sister. It seemed so perfect, sure there was the pain of the gripping [just like you] and the screams seemed never ending but just seeing the baby after about 5 hours of labor seemed to have been worth it. I felt so greatbeing there. I was just honoured.

nice to hear the good news dear, enjoy life with ur grand daughter. I was at both births and helped from start to finish, a husband should show his love and suopport 4 his wife during childbirth as us guys have no idea wat u girls go through. I feel a little when i take 8 high doseage co codamol tabs, the nurse in my renal unit said my god jimmy u must b constipated right up to your eyeballs, she was right it was terribly pain ful; going 2 the loo, i dread going as it might start up my farmers again ha ha
