Ichigo was born with a huge amount of spiritual force. According to Byakuya, only nobles are born with an overly excessive amount of power. Ichigo seems to fit the bill. And also, his dad is a captain class shinigami. So he's pure blood. That makes it possible.

Possibly, but not probable. Just because his dad is a captain class doesn't mean he's a pure blood. There are only 4 main noble families, one of which is the Kuchiki. But just because his dad is a captain doesn't make him a pure blood. He's technically a half blood, because his mother was a human, his father was a shinigami.
He has a large amount of spiritual ability, but it doesn't mean he's a noble. Do remember that he is a vizard, since he became a hollow in order to turn into a shinigami. Since he is both hollow and shinigami, his spiritual power is increased dramatically, I guess. So Ichigo could be a noble, he could not, we won't know till Tite Kubo finishes Bleach.

to my understanding it compresses his normaly huge reiatsu or spirit pressure that is displayed by his overly large zanpakuto into a much smaller form which allows him to move at extreme speeds. it also increases his getsuga tensho.
